Choose for the business question
Decide whether you are sourcing products, finding distributors, studying technology or exploring investment. The fairs below serve different purposes. Exhibition scope and access rules vary each year; verify the organiser’s current dates, venue, exhibitor list and professional-visitor requirements.
Canton Fair: choose the right phase
Both spring and autumn editions are organised in phases. Product categories are allocated across phases; do not assume one season covers electronics and the other covers homeware. Check the current phase directory before buying flights and arrange buyer registration through the official organiser.
Prepare your meetings
Create a shortlist, send product specifications or research questions, and request appointments early. Confirm interpretation, visitor badges and photography rules. A fair invitation is supporting information, not a guarantee of visa approval or entry.
Add a three-day city study tour
After the exhibition, reserve time for approved company visits, industrial parks and follow-up discussions. Confirm hosts before fixing transport and hotels, and allow for holiday closures. Select one of our thirteen city programmes as a starting point; interpretation and access are agreed separately.
